I would say predominately I enjoy punk music, all genres of it including HC, bubble gum, old school, skate punk, gutter punk, etc. I also am a sucker for anything from the 90's, Johnny Cash, southern rock, oldies... shh dont tell anyone but i love jimmy buffet (and no it has nothing to do with geffan, my dad is just a parrothead! )

This topic could go on for a thousand pages. I like punk, gothic, hardcore, classical, old school hip hop, old country, etc. I CANNOT STAND CLASSIC ROCK! I attribute this hate to being in the group. Zeppelin, Don McLean, and Pink Floyd can all bite my shiny metal ass! Oh and let's add Creed, Candlebox, Styx, and the Damn Yankees. Jesus, can you even classify this as music? Best Buy should've had a special "Cult drivel that some old fuckin dude thinks is cool" section reserved for that crap. Cool topic, Reno

I noticed that you forgot country music. Not saying that's what I would vote for, but maybe someone would, and we wouldn't want to discriminate against them now would we, nor would we want to discriminate against all the Motley Crue fans out there.

I like a lot of different music. But there's some I don't like either. I absolutely hate rap music. I can't relate to it and I think it sucks. I also can't stand new country music. It reminds me of the watered down "easy" rock of the 70's. Those people are obviously in the biz for the money. I also absofuckinlutely hate any bands which play(ed) in sports arena venues. You know who I'm talking about; Journey,Boston,Reo Speedwagon, and yep even Styx. Thare's others too but this poll is about what I like. Sorry.
I like everything from Johnny Cash and Hank Williams to Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, Social Distortion, The Stray Cats, to Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis, Depeche Mode, Old REM,the Squirrel Nut Zippers, Pinback, Sonic Youth,X,Motorhead, the Pogues and a whole shit pile more.

Johnny Cash and Hank Williams, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, Social Distortion, The Stray Cats, Miles Davis, Depeche Mode, X, the Pogues and a whole shit pile more. Fuck and yeah. I think the first band that I got into that wasn't what my mom was listening to was Depeche Mode then New Order and all that other dark synth shit. Punk didn't come along till I was fourteen and I didn't truly appreciate the masterful songwriting of people like Johnny, Hank, Merle, Willie and them until I was in my late teens/early twenties. On any given day I could listen to anything from the Pixies, Pennywise, Portishead, The Rev, Horton Heat, PJ Harvey, Patsy Cline, Run DMC, or Louis Armstrong. That's just how I roll. I, like webmistress, listen to mostly punk, but that music is not the end all be all. It's not a fuckin' religion and anyone who would limit their musical intake to only include that is ignorant. Good to se ya round these parts Casper. P.S. I have a super secret love affair with 80's music. Stuff like the Violent Femmes, Psychadelic Furs, and Billy Idol(cough cough).

Lots of stuff.
I primarily listen to slightly-underground hip-hop, like Kool Keith, DJ Krush, and shit like that. I also have had a long-time love affair with the Sneaker Pimps and other trip-hop groups like Massive Attack, Zero 7, and whatnot.
When I'm out at da club, it's either house or drum'n'bass. I'm learning to love disco house more and more, but DnB will always be my favorite dancing music. There's just so much speed and energy.
But, now and then, I love to throw in my "oh yeah" CD of mid-90's rock... Bush, Soundgarder, Sponge, etc.
Bottom line is, if I like it, I like it. I've even found some country music that I dig (Kenny Chesney), and I still think really ghetto rap is hilarious and fun to dance to.
PS: webdominatrix.... I hear ya on that classic rock thing. It just reminds me of being told what to do. Also, I always thought it sucked anyways.

It is way too hard to choose just one genre. I love elavator jazz, muzack, and the DIVX disc track selections that can be heard at any corporate restaurant across the nation. It just heals my soul.
