Webmistress, Black Friday Rule is a song by Flogging Molly and their best in my opinion. It also sums up a pretty big chunk of my life. Probably why I like it

Probably why I like it Yeah I know but I prefer What's left of the Flag... And the rosary beads count to 1-2-3 fell apart as they hit the floor... In a garb of black we must pay respect to the colour we're born to mourn... ;D

[snob_time] I hate 90% of music, but still own way too much of it (a couple people can vouch for me). Lately I've been listening to fey sad british/australian indie pop/diy from the mid-late '80s like The Go-Betweens, Felt, The Pastels, The Television Personalities.
also listening to some german krautrock (not derogatory, actual genre), like Can, Popol Vuh, Amon Duul, Ash Ra Tempel. Droney, spacey, repetitive rock from the early '70s.
also completely am obsessed with great and mediocre psychedelic musics from '66-'68. '69-early 70s, but by then it lost it's edge. weird british, american, japanese, new zealand, etc. bands featured in the awesome Nuggets, Rubble, and Pebbles compilations (and I've delved deep into crazed vinyl searching).
even new psychedelic music I'm obsessed with, stuff labeled 'new weird america' (hate the label), like Six Organs of Admittance, Devendra Banhart, The Iditarod, Charalambadies, Comets on Fire, the whole Jewelled Antler collective...
free jazz is also my thing, Albert Ayler, Peter Brotzmann, later day John Coltrane (early day, too), Ornette Coleman, Archie Shepp, some Sun Ra, Pharoah Sanders, etc, etc...
I'm probably boring all of you so I'll stop.
I like normal stuff, too, even classic rock.
(I told you, I'm a complete snob/geek)
