ok, I have to admit I've been sucked in to the passive aggressive goldmine Kata posted, when I really should be focusing more on my work. One site led to another, and I found this fun little blog. Just gotta say, I've got tears rolling down my cheeks. WD may appreciate this one a bit... cakewrecks.blogspot.com/

This blog rocks, ID! Thank you. Oh, my God the green and white "Tiffany" box cake was hysterical/tragic.

This is awesome. And especially appropriate right now considering I'm thinking about making my own wedding cake.

Haha...oh shit! That is horrible and hilarious all at the same time.
Kata, if you need help or advice about where to go for supplies and stuffs, give me a call. I'd be happy to help you acheive your dream of a non-airbrushed, non-pastel, non-cakewreck wedding cake.

Oh yeah, when I saw the naked mohawk baby carrot jockeys I almost spit Sobe Lean Cranberry Grapefruit all over my keyboard and monitors. I love how they all have their arms in the same position, one fist up in the air and the other as if it's holding onto the reins in that 'perverted vegetable rodeo'...
Hey WD, I've been wondering about supplies myself. Not for a wedding cake, but in general. I was way into candy making and baking for a while (when I wasn't working full time) and I hated being stuck with Pretty Party Place and Party City and the like. Where are the better places?

Michael's is awesome for that kind of stuff! Also, for flavor oils, I use Lorann oils and order right from their website. Bed, Bath and Beyond has some good stuff if you can manage your way through there.
There is also a local baking supply store here in Phoenix which is huge but I'm not really using it as I would prefer because I have yet to get good service there. That sucks because I would rather put my money where my mouth is and support a local business but I just can't support bad service with my dollar, ya know?
