I have never been approached by anyone from this site to be a part of a "hostile takeover" of any website. Nor have I sought such an undertaking.
I continue to enjoy the environment here. As I said in a previous post, I enjoy hearing about others' interest and take comfort in that fact that, although we have the common bond of being in a DAP, we have other things in common. The things we don't have in common just lend to a more diverse and interesting place to be.

I don't know why I try.
Seriously... its like two steps forward and I celebrate. then one step back and I rationalize that things are still marginally better. Then its two steps back and I'm further behind than I was when I started posting again.
I give trust, share info and BAM! I get hit. And somehow its my fault.
I'm pissed. And I'd better turn this off before everything I say is twisted and turned and used against me. Goodnight.

Si, senoritas, I ditto as well.
GH, you were great. I was very impressed by your post, and I wanted to respond to the "eyes are watching" post, but I was afraid it would be seen as a whole "off the emmis" thing.
Kata, I thought you asked thoughtful questions and nothing you ever said was disrespectful to anyone.
How in the world does anything we said make us sh!t starters?
And... this is the part that gets me, how in the world could anyone know ahead of time that one person would stand up and yell, and others would chime in and say "this stinks"? Even saying someone knew ahead of time that "this was going down" is just bullsh!t. I didn't know anything was "going down."
Sorry ... just venting.
