Hey everyone, long time, no talk to! My old computer crashed and got completely wiped out (it was a very sad thing, lost so much stuff), and I couldn't find the site again because it seems to be off the map. Google, yahoo, et all turned up nothing, and I ended up getting the address from Kata on myspace (which I finally got, because I'm a "behind the times" kind of girl). Anyway, I'm here!
The last year or so has been busy for me. We finally bought our first house, it's a 3 bedroom 2 bath split level in a good neighborhood. We close on the 14th, but we're not going to move in until a week later because the inside needs some work. In order to afford a house in the school district we want we had to buy the ugliest house on the block, but I love it! It has tons of character, it just needs new paint, floors, and appliances (as much as I love harvest gold...). I went back to work and school, I work part time at Blockbuster and I'm a full time student through the University of Phoenix's online program. Still writing, and had a handful of stories published, but not much else. A small publisher currently has a partial of my manuscript, so we'll see how that goes.
Kaitlyn starts school this fall, and that's going to be hard. She's a smarty pants though, so I think she'll be okay. We're trying to get her enrolled in the charter school here since they focus so much on academics, and it's a really good school.
I hope everyone else is doing well, I'd love hear what you all have been up to!
