Yeah, I don't know if that was put to gether as a joke or what but it's pretty much chapter and verse as far as the thinking goes and the ideas that our "drug abuse counselors" had. Thank God we all didn't end up with black Nikes on in a compound somewhere.

I'm pretty sure it's a joke. What was so crazy to me is that, yeah, I know we were in a cult, we all talk about it all the time. I've come to terms with that. I just never realized quite how much what we went through follows those cult guidelines. I don't know I guess it's hard to explain. It just freaked me the hell out.

Yeah, it's pretty fuckin' textbook. I've come to terms with it myself but sometimes I'll catch a documentary on Jim Jones or read something about good 'ol L.Ron and it STILL punches me in the back of the head: Holy shit, I WAS IN A CULT! Holy shit, I'm alive! I'm glad that we all still talk about it though. I got weird about it a while ago but then I realized that if I can't about it with you guys, then who the hell am I gonna talk to about it? No one, I mean NO ONE understands exactly the who, what, when, where, why and hows of what happened to me than you. It's like verifiable proof that I: 1. Did not imagine this. 2. Am not overreacting to my Lifeway/SRC/Pathway experience and that yeah, it really went down like that and no, we're not gullible or stupid people. We were masterfully manipulated and it's a weird thing to look at from afar.
