Hey everybody, I haven't been on in a while, soaking up the last bit of summer. How is everyone? I'm sorry I missed the B-days, so happy birthday IDBUG and WM (better late than never!).
I went out to Minnesota this summer with the baby (not really a baby anymore, but she's still my baby). First time on a plane for her, but she didn't see much except the landing, thanks to a trusty dose of Benadryl (sp?). We spent a lot more time in the car than I was aware of before we went out there (8-10 hours a day, give or take), but she only got sick three times, so it wasn't so bad. We had a really good time, got to see lots of family.
We spent an afternoon at a zoo they have out there with amusment park rides. Kaitlyn went on her very first ride, she was too cute on them! Although I still can't explain why a car ride with little more than juice in her belly makes her throw up, but the tea cups ride directly after a greasy lunch of chicken fingers and fries has no effect. C'est la vie.
Kaitlyn turned three in July, she had three parties, and I suspect that she's become a little spoiled from it, but there's no harm in it. She's gotten so big and independant, and I'm still trying to figure out where the time went.
A short story of mine was accepted for publication, and I'm really excited about that. Still don't have an agent, but I've been busy trying to build a bio, and things are going well. I also recently got Paint Shop Pro, so I've been playing around with that, doing different things with the pics I have on my computer.
What has everyone been up to? Any plans for Halloween? I hope everyone is doing well!
