Has anyone ever been to Ensenada? Where is the coolest place you have traveled to and why?
Mine would have to be Mexico City because I had an amazing sense of history (which I study and am obsessed with) mixed in with "modernity."

Never been to Ensenada, only to Rocky Point. It was pretty cool.
Coolest place I've traveled would probably be Italy. There's just so much history and amazing art there. Inside the US, I'd go with San Francisco...it's just a beautiful city, there's a ton to do, the food is awesome.

Sorry, I haven't been to Ensenada either.
The coolest place I've traveled to would be Israel. I went there for work, but stayed on the beach in Herzliyya and took a couple of tours. There is so much history centered around that place, it's amazing.

The coolest place I've been is Canada, when I was 19. My pregnant roomate offered to be the DD, so we drove over for a night of good old fashioned legal drinking. Canadian bars are the best, the people are so laid back and friendly. I also went to Windsor a few times when I was 20, which was a longer drive, but well worth it.

I feel the need to go to Brasil (I love big bootys)
I still have to go to the Far East before I die. I was supposed to go to Shaig Hai for a month for work but they wound up sending the whole branch to Houston for me to train them. Talk about not cost effective. Fuggers

Yes I've been to Ensenada! As a kid 6th grade, the fam went to Cali for a month hitting all the hot FAMILY spots. Then a relative in Orange Cty. brought us to this little town not too far from the border. The relative had a trailer real close to the beach. I know trailer sounds strange for a second home, but this community was actually kinda nice with mostly Americans who took vacation there. I remember the drunk Mexican guy that was supposedly guarding this small community with an unloaded gun. How do I know it wasn't loaded? Cause my bro (4 yrs older than me) drank with the guy and he showed him. Also my brother fised with the guy. Caught bottlenose sharks to cut off the body and throw the head back in. Apparentally the small species of shark will regrow its tail. Also the water was nasty, caused diarrhea and what not. So we didn't drink any water, but we ordered soda at a restaurant and didn't realize until later that the ice we drank was local. I don't think we got sick. But that's coming from a 12 yr old. We found that in Mexico that Wood is the hot commodity, quite pricy. And there were little girls who came in from the mountains that sold chicklets mainly to tourists for real cheap. Their way of peddling it seemed to my family.
That was quite an adventure. I'd go back. It was soooooooo dusty there!
The experience we had passing through Death Valley is too much to type. Anyone have a story about the Borax filled destitute part of our beautiful country? In the shade when I was there it was 114 degrees! But with no humidity, so you'll die faster without knowing.

I was within minutes of getting sexually assaulted in Juarez Mexico when my church youth group leader came around the corner and saved me.
We were there on a work camp. Good Times.
