i used to subscribe to Reader's Digest. But a waiting room i visit weekly has it, so i read for free.

but i'm careful about where a i touch the pages. ya know... cuz of poo.

N/A I have learned my lesson, I will subscribe to them and then never read them. So I stopped subscribing to them.

The mags I dig are WIRED, MAC how-to handbook, Mac Addict.

Best Buy swindled me into a subscription to Entertainment Weekly (I was under the assumption it was a free trial WRONG). I love being up to date on movies and what not, but I just can't handle the star-f#cking media. I generally use the IMDB for film info.

But then again I'll read anything in print if I'm bored enough.

OMG! Best Buy swindled me into the same subscription. Every week they come and every week I don't read them and they pile up and then I throw them away. I don't know how to make it stop!!

I subscribe to Rolling Stone and I buy on a regular basis: Spin, Blender, Time, Newsweek, and Jane. Sometimes Maxim or Stuff, depending on who's on the cover.

I read PC weekly, computer weekly, ok I am not going on because the only mags I read on a regular basis are all computer magazines that my work pays for. I do enjoy buying the European Cosmo when I go to Borders (it more racey and not all stoopid pleasing my manish) , and I like Spin, and my downstairsneighbors give me thier rolling stones after they read them...
Screw the Poo they are free!

I subscribe to the New Yorker currently, buy Modern Painter often, and finished a subscription to the avant garde orientated zine The Wire. I used to buy The Economist regularly, but the writing and content hasn't been that great recently. Sometimes I'll buy Mojo if they have a good feature.

I love to read the Economist, it's a great magazine. I would like to get a subscription to it, but have you seen how expensive that is? Also, see my previous post, I never end up having time to read anything.

I subscribe to IEEE Spectrum and IEEE Computer Society newsletter, but work pays for it.

I get EE Times and Design magazine free.

I'm a geek.

And I refuse to pay for magazines, so I'm cheap too.

I get Cat & Dog fancy that just pile up on my bookshelf cause they don't have any information I don't already know but I bought a 3 year subscription back when I had money to blow on stupid things. I read my Readers Digest if I don't lose it, I've thought about changing my subscription to the huge older person format cuz those damn things are so small but I don't think it will fit in my tiny community mailbox set-up . I occasionally buy off the rack a Reptile one I forget the name of, random animal ones like the rabbit one and bird one even though I own neither rabbits or birds. and Dog World. Do you think I have a unhealthy obsession with animal magazines?Hmm...something besides animals...Oh, I subscribe to the Turtle magazine that I give to my nephew : ) . and I grab a New Times when I can but thats not really a subscription or a magazine...
