Everyone still here?

Hi guys,
Sorry, it's been awhile since I posted, I've been completely overwhelmed with work stuff and home stuff lately. It's going to get worse before it gets better: I'm moving to a new company in the next two weeks, as is my entire division, so things are insane here. Just trying to separate all our stuff out of the network keeps breaking all the software stuff we use/write/etc, so it's constant work keeping up with all the changes.

At home, I've got constant cleanup with 6 growing puppies. Keeping them clean, keeping Lucy stocked with enough water (imagine how dehydrated you'd get br-feeding 6 kids at once) and keeping the mess contained is a full-time job itself. But I'm lucky, I have a system.... haha. More pics as soon as I can get some.

How is everyone else doing?

WM, how go the wedding plans? (Or has the wedding happened already?)

GH, how is your health? Have you found a job that has better culture yet?

Kata, how's it going in the wonderful world of claims adjusting? Did you vanquish the bugs yet? (Both those in your house and those in your computer?)

I'm still here! I went on vacation for a week, fun but stressful, and I kept meaning to come and say hi, but then summer got away from me, and I got this Paint Shop thing that I spent most of my computer time trying to tinker with, and all that unexciting stuff.

Glad the puppies are doing well! It must be hard to take care of all of them, have you lost any shoes to them yet? They are so adorable though, can't wait to see more pics!

I'm sorry your work is so stressful now, do you have to move to a new city, or just a new building? You talked about being worried about your job before, so I'm glad that you still have it, even if you have to move to a new company.

Things are going about the same for me here, my life is pretty boring, but I like it that way.

We're moving to a building a couple of miles away, out in what feels like the middle of nowhere, but is just a bit south of the Chandler Mall. It's gonna be weird, and small: only about 300 of us are going in our location.

After working at a company with ~100,000 employees, ~11,000 at our site, moving to a company of ~4000 employees, and only 300 at our location, is going to feel a bit lonely. Especially since it's surrounded by empty fields/vacant lots. It's kind of scary, too, there is all kinds of---shall we say, interesting---news about the company we're going to. But like you said, I am very happy I still have a job. I'm sure I could find another one fairly easily, but I really don't want to go through interviewing, if I don't have to.

Nice to hear from you and those cutest puppies!
Things are great here. Love the new home even tho it's a lot of work. I love owning- not being a dirt bag slum lord makes me feel real good. Not paying rent kicks some serious ass. Needless to say- it's been keeping me busy.
Can't believe I was still in school last year and still had so much time to be on the web. I barely look at it nowadays. Am still interested to see how the other site pans out and to hear how peeps here are doing... Esp. you Kata, GH, Web D and Web M. I miss the smart and funny assessment of daily life etc. Everyone else too. This site provided a much needed break from everything and I still am glad it exists (and existed back then).

Nice to hear how everyone else is doing.

Healthwise, I was getting better. Just took a slight turn for the worse. I'm sure its stress and weather related.

Jobwise I am sending out resumes but not doing full blown follow up on them--just casting the net out there.

My job is in a constant state of flux--much like the rest of my life. One day I'm up, the next I down--and the whole full meal deal is a pressure cooker. Started meds last week. I thought they were helping. Now, I'm not so sure. Just more back and forth, I guess.

I don't want to end on that debby-downer note so I'll let you know that I have a 1pm appointment Wednesday for new tattoo I'm taking a mental health day from work, getting inked then going on a date.

What's the tat? A sad fairy. Just like me.

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been around much. I can't post from work anymore and my home computer is so messed up. It's gotten worse. I am going to have to take it in somewhere, I just need to wait until I have the cash.

Work has been going good, the new job is really interesting. There are some crazy people out there, but it's good for laughs. They're sending me to Bloomington, IL in a couple weeks, and I am not looking forward to that, I'm going to freeze my ass off.

Hope everyone is doin good. As soon as my computer is better, I'll post more, I promise.

good to hear from you. Sorry to here your computer is still fucked up Kata (I feel partly responsible) and nice tattoo GH. Everything's everything here is So Cal. Looking forward to Halloween even tho I still don't know if I'll dress up.
