Just an update, it's all still fucked up. I think I'm either going to have to try to follow your suggestion ID and restore my system (I have no clue how) or I will have to break down and go buy some anti-virus software (not even sure if that will work). Right now, I just do what I can and then shut down and re-start my computer every 30 minutes.

Send an e-mail to that Jay guy from the geek radio link I posted. He will definatly point you in the right direction before you do anything crazy that will lose all of your stuff. He generally gets back to you within a day
