I think I'm actually going to end up doing what I do every year: wait in my backyard with a hose, until my neighbors are done trying to scare my dogs to death and burn down everyone's homes on our street. Morons.
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against bottle rockets and home fireworks per se.... but dammit, it just takes a little common sense to not fire them off where they're going to land burning on wooden roofs or in dead, dry grass.
