I would have to agree, except for Battlestar Galactica. That and several other things on the Sci Fi channel make me extremely tempted to get some kind of TV package.
Damn them for being on pay TV!
Which brings me to a question for Kata, but I'll post it on another thread.
PS, to do quotes in boxes, you just put tags around the chunk of stuff you want in a box. The tags are like this (I can't do them exactly, or they will disappear):
Before the quoted chunk: (left SQB)quote(right SQB)
After the quoted chunk: (left SQB)/quote(right SQB)
(note the slash before the word...)
SQB = Square Bracket, for short
hope that helps. :-)

I just click the little botton that says 'quote' Also, when I moved in to Ang's she didn't have tv. I mean she had a huge-ass honkin' HD tv Sony thing...but the only input was an xbox, gamecube, playstation 2, trivia thingy, VCR and DVD player. No actual television was wired. I went ab-so-freecan crazy. I must have tv. So we hooked up the satellite dish. the wind blows and we lose channels. It sucks and I hate it and I cannot wait to have expensive freakin' cable where I have 3000000 channels at my fingertips! Sorry... got off on a tangent. here's the deal: I pay $60/month for 2 digial boxes, all the channels plus every movie channel known to man, OnDemand and all the music channels. And I have paid 3 bills so far--but I don't even FUCKING live there yet! I just HAD to make sure it was hooked up and ready to go before we moved in. Plus, I wanted to be able to have it on while working at the new condo. $120 well spent. I love pay tv. I heart it. I would marry it if it were legal.

I'm with you on the TV, thing, G. When I moved to my new house, I had the dude from the satellite company come the day I moved in and waited more than 2 weeks to get the phone hooked up.
I'm ashamed...but not really.

I have a love/hate relationship with TV. There aren't nearly as many good shows as there were when I was younger, or maybe I'm just getting older, so the shows I liked when I was younger don't appeal to me anymore. Too old for the OC, and too young Touched by an Angel (is that show even still on, LOL). What's a girl to do?
I also have issues with the networks cancelling show that I enjoy, after airing a big ass cliffhanger (naturally).
We got DVR in our house mainly for Sunday nights, which gets complicated between Cold Case (which I love, and I'm the only one I know who does), FOX on Sundays, and well as HBO on Sundays. With the DVR we also got all the movie chanels, which means I must find out when the L-word and Weeds airs on Showtime, because I've heard enough about both shows to know that I want to watch them.
Other than my soaps, I mainly watch movies or kid shows with the little one. I know they say that kids shouldn't watch TV, but my daughter knows more spanish than I do (and uses it in everyday speech) thanks to Dora the Explorer. She doesn't watch TV all day long, but a little can't hurt.
