Help! Please!

Whoever can help me gets a free shot of tequila!!

Here's the deal:

I signed on to "that other website" yesterday and every time I go in to the forums, I get a pop-up add (that I just close out of) but then it changes the forum screen to some search engine screen. I have this problem w/certain other websites, too, but have never had it with "that other website". I kept trying to get into it again, and kept getting the same result.

So, I went into my security settings in MSN and changed it to High, well that worked (sort of). I can now get into the forums "over there" and view all the messages with no random search screens coming up, but now I can't login. I think it's a problem with the cookies. So, I go BACK into my security settings and click on "enable cookies" well, then I'm back to my original issue, but I can log in.

I tried downloading the latest version of MSN to see if that would help. I ran SpyBot to make sure I don't have any spyware, but that didn't work.

Can anyone help???

well I suspect it is adware, download adaware

run that and then tell me if you still have the problem, that is what I would do first.

Like she said, get AdAware SE. Also, get SpywareBlaster (just search for it on Download.com), and run them all.

Most importantly, USE FIREFOX.
